Jo Malone – Heathrow T2

The Jo Malone Traveling Townhouse sets up home at Terminal 2 Heathrow

Working Closely with Estee Lauder, JCDecaux and the Jo Malone London team, Edge Retail were asked to work on a promotional site of epic proportions in Heathrow T2.  We produced an illuminated Jo Malone townhouse that stands at over 6M tall! The Townhouse is surrounded by over 100 bespoke oversize Jo Malone boxes, each one with the signature Jo Malone London ribbon tied around it.  The site has two large immersive boxes in which customers can interact with a digital experience and other themed items.  The site was designed and installed to comply with all of Heathrow Airports strict rules and regulations.  The site has been photographed by thousands of passengers travelling through the terminal and shared on many social media outlets.

The site even includes the famous Jo Malone London Dog, can you spot him?

Award Winning

Edge Retail was awarded the Gold POPAI award under the category of Short Run – Temporary Display for the Jo Malone Heathrow T2 travelling townhouse promotional site.
Thanks to everyone who helped us deliver this amazing site, it really was a massive team effort, thank you all!

Built to last

The site required a full steel substructure and internal framework to support the overall weight of the site and took 3 full evenings to install.

Impact and Results

The Traveling Townhouse was a tremendous success, generating significant passenger engagement and sales uplift. The project was officially recognised with a prestigious Gold POPAI Award for outstanding temporary display execution. This project remains a hallmark of our capability to deliver award-winning, large-scale, experiential retail environments in complex, high-security locations.

“Fulfilled the brief, creating the ‘wow’ display needed to make a social media statement, and the interactivity and awareness to drive sales increase. The beautiful execution and design oozed Jo Malone’s style and included interactive games and activities as well as sampling to help shoppers experience the brand. The display was also successful in its aim of creating a viral social media presence.”
